Got some good news today

Hey guys, just a quick update for those of you familiar with my medical issues. I found out today that my Med Board is complete on my eye problems (for now) and they have concured with the original "Return to Duty" reccomendation given by the Doc's here at Fairchild back in Feb. I am in a probation period so to speak, and won't be allowed to Deploy, go TDY or PCS for another 9 months, but I can apply to have that period over at around 6 months. The surgery went good and the recovery process has taken longer than expected, but it was a sucess and the Military is happy enough with the results to keep me around a little longer, lol. September 1st I go in for them to make "adjustments" to the sutures holding the new cornea in place to flatten it out a bit and to correct the astigmatism (sp) Thanks for all of those that offered up well wishes and prayers back in July when I had my surgery and on my Med Board, looks like they worked!! This place has become a second family to me and it's nice to know that people out there still care.
