Vintage 7.1 Home Theater Setup

Fun fact for the day is that my roommate and I had assembled a decent home theater, but when he moved out he took all of the speakers (which were klipsch) with him. All I had left was a subwoofer (Infinity ssw 210), a low end Yamaha receiver and an old TV, which meant that I had a perfect excuse to start spending some money.

While I do love Klipsch, the horns start to wear on me after a while and after doing some research I decided to start looking for some vintage Polk speakers. After much searching on Craigslist, here is what I have acquired:

Mains: SDA 2B (stock with planned upgrade)
Center: Monitor 5 Series II (using the pair)
Side Surrounds: Monitor 7A (pretty sure they have the peerless tweets)
Rear Surroungs: Monitor 10B (no stands, but still looking)
Subwoofer: Infinity SSW210
Receiver: Denon 3805
Amp for SDA's: Rotel (don't remember the model number right now)

I realize that the timbre matching isn't perfect, but once I get it set up I'll see how my ears feel about the whole situation and then go from there. I haven't put everything together yet, but separately everything sounds fantastic. I'm glad to have joined the club.

Let me know what you guys think.
