can i make this in to a tube amp for my sda c1???

i was looking at this old crosley today here are some pictures

the tag on the bottom tell s me its

50/60 cycles 90 watts i don't know much about tubes was just looking for something that might work

    I think so. The only tube amp I have ever had in my system was the tube amp section of a 1965ish Marantz console stereo. My friend pulled the amp section and installed it in an 80's era JVC receiver chasis. It worked well with my SRS2's. I will try to upload a pic later.

    Hello,
    That's probably not a good idea. You would have to find a second amp just like it for two channel listening. You'd have to find the schematic (probably not too hard) then figure out how the original design could apply to the rest of your system. Then make the necessary changes to the original design to accommodate the output of the pre-amp you would use. Then, hope that the output would be sufficient for the speakers you have and match their load. All-in-all a great deal of effort for a problematical result. It would better to try and find a vintage Dynaco, Harmon-Kardon, Heath or Eico for your project.

    ya i have no clue about tubes. lol i just found that and a crap ton a old tube radios today. and was like wonder if i can make amps out of this stuff lol
