I was invited to partake in the beta testing.

It's actually quite the system they have running. PQ and Frames of each game actually blew me away being STRICTLY over the internet. Experienced little to NO lag during all of me sessions. Also, for those of you with "Not so hot" rigs can play any of those games with crystal clear picture as all the processing is done at the main station as you are just basically watching/playing a video.

The downsides, so far, is that the number of quality/purchasable games isn't up to snuff. The Onlive company has most game publishers on board for this system as it will eliminate the dreaded 2nd hand market that game developers hate so dearly by making it so there aren't copies of their games flying all over creation.

It's fun taking part in this "REVOLUTIONARY" new system but i need that 2nd hand market. I can't afford to shell out $60 every time a new game comes out.
Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!!

take a gander at the game prices, all pretty cheap, most being 39.99. makes sence as there is no cd or packing/shipping to worry about.

I'm not getting into this ground level, but this could very well be where gaming is going!
