Up for sale, the Original Carver Amazing speaker system. They speakers are in fantastic shape and play perfect. They are the original NOT the platinum version. They have 2x30 inch ribbons and 4 12 inch woofers in each speaker. They are about 6 feel tall and weigh in at 120 lbs!

On the left speaker, the top ribbon is silver instead of gold as the other ones. When I bought the speakers, they were like this already. The right speaker both are gold color. There is no sound difference at all between the two.

The outside of the speakers are in great shape. The black is still shiny and I do have the owners manual for them!

I got them a few years ago and drove to MLPS to get them! They have been driven with a Sunfire Signature amplifier. The speakers are POWER HUNGRY and have to be driven with a high power amp that is 2 ohm stable.

There is nothing wrong with the speakers and they look fantastic. I have too many speakers and I am selling some off.

I have this on craigslist for 750 for but carver and polk members $700

Saw your CL ad today. Good luck with your sale.

You've got quite the collection of "not petite" speakers over at your place!

Would like to listen to them sometime, neighbor.

I really like coming here, for the simple fact that you guys really stick together, and treat each other well. This deal is a case in point. $50 off for being part of the Polkster clan, lol, if you will.

I really haven't had any funds to do anything lately, which is the reason for the lack of participation. However, I do enjoy visiting, and dreaming, lol!

Thanks guys for making this a great place,

i also have the bass correction unit available for the amazings. I don't remember what the model number is. I actually preferred a BBE with them vs the carver bass correction unit.

HI, they were sold a while ago. Sorry about that.

They were great speakers but when the woman moved in with her 2 kids, I lost my basement lol. Had to re-do it to make a bedroom and a den. The amazings were just too big for the smaller room. Right now I am running a set of JM Lbas 815 and they sound
darn good in the smaller room.

If I didn't loose the room, I would not have gotten rid of them.

Did a guy from Madison,WI buy them? I saw them for sale on Craigslist a few months ago but they sold before I even got an email off to the guy. I remember them because of the ribbon color not matching and he mentioned that in the ad.

Yes he did. Nice guy too!! If he sells anything, he is definitely trustworthy and a good person to talk to also! He got them but he was thinking his room might be too small as well, besides the wife not knowing how big they were in person. He showed her pics but until you see one in front of you, you have no idea how much room they take up!! He said he liked the sound but, they might have been a bit too big.
