What does integrated 2.1 channel audio mean?

I see that my new computer has integrated 2.1 channel audio sound, what does that mean exactly

    It has 2 speakers and a subwoofer.

    Well actually it means it has outputs for 2 speakers and a subwoofer built in. Read the manual. Welcome to Club Polk by the way.
