Had an interview today

It seemed to go pretty well. Julie said she would be calling me in a couple days. From some of the questions she was asking it sounded like they might start me off in management training. Yes I did use the interviewers first name, I lived with her about 14 years ago for a short time. She was one of the managers that had a say in me becoming a manager when I worked at McD's. So she already knows my work ethics. She asked if I had any other management experience since then, it was nice to be able to say that I was the production manager at my last job. It's only the local Little Caesars, but it's better then unenjoyment. Hopefully this will help[ put some of the pieces back together, and allow me to get my family out of this death trap of a trailer and into a house. Really tired of the dead beat land lord, but that's another novel I'd like to close the covers of soon.

Don't you hate deadbeat land lords? I haven't even moved in to my apartment and I hate mine.
Good luck. -
Oh, don't even get me going on landlords! I have had to deal with 2 in a row. Worst part about it is I live in a county which accepts them. Oh well guess I'll have to stick it out a little longer, on to bigger and more efficient things(well accept the 2 ch:D).
Thanks for the well wishes guys. -
Good Luck and hope you landed a new job this time.Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin:

Good luckWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all

Good luck!

I got a call today, had to go fill out a back ground check(it's really a waste of their time). From what was said on the phone I will be starting part time in a supervisory position. Not too bad considering, I checked the box to apply for a crew position. Now just waiting for the back ground check to come back. Thanks again for the well wishes all.

Good news! Part time is more likely your big test, IMHO you will more likely get permanency before you know it. All considered, starting part time maybe a good thing if you have been out of work for a while as you can slowly readapt to being part of the work force.
GL!

I hear that. I have gotten used to chumming around with the kids all day. We have had a lot of fun.

It was a little hard to get back to the grind after 5 months of abscence (sick leave). I've been back for a month now and it still takes time to get back to the efficiency I am used to. What makes it easier, the summer months are quiter and it gives me the time to get re-acquainted. Just don't stress it out to quickly, take the time to think and get used to the new life.DARE TO SOAR:
