Signal Cable

After reading all of the posts on bi-wiring helps/doesn't help I decided to find out for myself. So I placed a order with Signal Cable for the "Ultra bi-wire speaker cables" and tonight I decided to hook them up
My complaint with these Monitor 60's since I bought them was the lack of bass. Now it is there.Still not where I would like it.But,a very noticable improvement.
They also sound "cleaner" if that makes any sense.
Was this becuase of the better quality cable or the bi-wiring? Who cares. It seems to be money well spent:D

Hey ratster, I've got some new Monitor 60-II's that I'm in the process of conditioning, and they are sounding better each day. I am really thinking of doing the bi-amping thing when I do my complete rewire and banana plug project, so does one need a special
"Ultra bi-wire speaker cables" for this undertaking, or will regular 12ga do the trick as well??? Are you more, or less, satisfied with your "60"s now, and do you recommend this? -
I'm a newb so I'm not the one to ask about bi-amping.
I'm sure regular 12 awg would be fine.
It did make a noticable improvement in the sound quality of my speakers escpecially on the low end where I have never been happy their performance.I'm still not pleased with the bass but it has improved.
From my experiences I would recommend doing it and let me know what your thoughts are afterwords.Good Luck!Main

I'm nothing near an expert, but I've biwired with some regular 12ga wire with no issues. I actually did not notice a difference.
I was biwiring with the GFA-5800, which has two sets of binding posts. -
please note. Bi amping and bi wiring are two very different things.
