    Not interested... Dave lost his voice years ago. I saw him and Sammy in a "battle of the frontmen" concert and he just about got booed off the stage.:eek:

    Yep, unfortunately Dave just doesn't have the voice he had years ago and the times I have heard him on the radio or tv spots have progressively been disappointing the past 15 yrs.Sometimes you just have to call it quits in rock.

    If it's vintage VH with Dave OR Sammy, I'm OK with it. Just hope it's some lame "new direction" for them.

    :eek: What!? When did this happen?

    I find all the good information on this forum!...Including news about my favorite band of all time. I hadn't heard about this yet. Hopefully they can get along long enough to complete the album at least. And, hopefully whatever Eddie was thinking on that last album has changed, cause he is the genius behind the music. :cool:

    No Michael Anthony for the Van Halen "reunion" album though. I'm sorry, but Mikey's background vocals is an important part of the Van Halen sound. Eddie may disagree, of course.

    Mikey + Sammy are still in Chickenfoot and they're planning a second album.

    I bought the Chickenfoot album awhile back. Love Sammy, Micheal, Joe Satriani and thought...how could I go wrong buying this with all these guys in it.......I was completely dissapointed. :(

    agreed. I doubt if Wolfie can do the backing vocals like Michael could.
