Would it be tacky to mix the black TSi200s with a pair of Monitor 60s with Cherry cabinets? Newegg has them for $100 ea.

I'm being kind of a diva, right now.

    Not tacky.

My system is mismatched (cherry Monitor 60s and black Monitor 30s) and I like the contrast. Of course, the surround speakers are in a completely different part of the room, so it's not immediately obvious.

Ok. I thought I was going to be some big loser who doesn't know how to dress his sound system.

I'm going to hijack my own thread.

I've had my TSi200s for a month. Paid $150 for a pair shipped from eBay. I got them because I just got a new apartment and I don't really have the space for towers. Anyway, I was in the middle of packing up my sound system when I got really lazy after putting a PSW350 in its box. I sat down and turned on my iTunes and started my daily rounds of Facebook stalking. 30 minutes later I realized my subwoofer wasn't hooked up to my system. These little bookshelves have great balance. The bass is surprisingly adequate. The sonics are better than anything I've had before (Logitech Z-5500s; not much, I know).

Nah mix away man, if anyone makes fun of you don't let them listen to your setup anymore.
