It always seems like when I think I fix the problem, I've just patched part of the problem. :o I played a 90hz tone through my laptop today and noticed the bass output was virtually non-existent on the left speaker, even though both speakers are level matched. After doing the PR test, I confirmed that the left speaker is still losing air somewhere. The midrange drivers in the left speaker all have Mortite. I tried playing some other frequencies to see if I could get the speaker to leak air but I really didn't have much luck there. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! :)

Inspect the rubber surrounds for rips/tears. Inspect the cabinet seams for leaks. Check that the tweeter and PR gaskets are there and in good condition. Remove the Mortite, reinstall the original gaskets and test again. Check that the binding post plate is tight and check that the hotglue type material covers everything on the backside of the binding post plate.
