Going with my brother-in-law to see Korn, Rob Zombie, and Lamb of God at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA! Lots of other bands also playing through the day, but we're unable to make it before 7 tonight, see we'll just see the headliners. Apparently, we've got some great seats lined up. This is taking me back... :) Will post some pics later. There's a chance we'll get backstage.

Man... they must be hurting for gigs if they're playing at a Jiffy Lube...

    ;)
    Ludicrous gibs!

Got to be one of the worst sponsor-named venues... Nissan Pavilion had a better ring. ;)

Do you get a free lube voucher with the concert ticket?:)
If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

Korn puts on a great show live last time I saw. I would love to see Rob Zombie live though!

One of the guitarists in Lamb of God, Mark Morton, was the year ahead of me in high school (Lafayette H.S., Williamsburg, VA '91). Though I'm not really into that genre any more, its been great to see that his band has really made it over the years (Awhile back I saw some youtube video in which he decked the lead singer [of his own band]...not sure if it was staged but it was pretty funny!)

Believe it or not, I met Mark tonight! My brother-in-law also went to school with him and they used to hang and go to concerts and stuff. We spent a while after the show just talking. He seems to be a really nice, down-to-earth guy.

Hanging out inside the 9:30 Club in DC while LOG runs through their sound check. Awesome - ha!

Would be a better show if it was Rob Zombie and Lamb of God... Never been a Korn fan I like a few of their songs but nothing big for me and yes I have seen them live "twice".

    Have a great time!!!
