    Welcome to the forum.

You have a very good friend. Google each model number for info. The tuner, amps and RTR are nice pieces. Lot of folks out there that like the vintage silver.

I agree, im still in the process of taking it all apart and getting it home and put back together, plus getting all the components hooked back up correctly, i was told one switch turns on the whole system, of course i have no idea where i would set the system up,it has custom oak cabinets that go on each side of the original metal Rack all together about 12 ft or more, the QLS speakers must have been 200 lbs each, they wre a truck load by themselves. All the components look to be in like new condition. everything has been mounted in the rack since it was bought new.

Welcome to Club Polk. I have a low-end silver Pioneer from back in the 70's, they made solid gear which is still very desirable and in many cases quite valuable. I'm sure if you are diligent with Google, you'll find out most of what you're looking for.

    Where are you located?

We'd love to see some pics of this vintage Pioneer stuff. I want to say the TX-9500 tuner was considered a nice unit back in the day.

Well i posted the wrong model on the reel to reel its a RT 2044, I dont know how to post a picture yet. I will try and get that up soon as i figure out how to do it. Anyway i moved the beast today, got it dusted off and it looks just like new.I also got a Revox B 790 Turntable and a Mitsubishi DP-EC20 Turntable. They fired up and seem ok. This rack was sent out to a select few pioneer stores and was called THE RACK it was top heavy and was pulled because of the danger to customers. It is complete around 500 lbs. My back can confirm that. Any help with picture posting out there? My camera, aint much.I noticed this silver series is sort of tough to get a good picture of, or its just me. Thanks. Big dog Im in knoxville Tn
