Here it is folks - and like most of the rooms, my camera does the colors no justice. The light green is far more green than the pics let on...

The bedrooms are linked to the den via HDMI and inceiling speakers + a pair of inwall subs....

So truly at any time someone will be able to patch in audio from the den at the flip of the switch. But each room will have DTS/DD or whatever from the den.

Most likely will be running surround bars with a powered sub - possibly rear surrounds with the surround bar ---

On top of that a xbox system link is already ran so I can link 3 xbox systems together...

    Tons of fun!

Damn! Well, IF you get into financial straits, I'm sure you'll have ZERO problem renting that room to a college student.:D

Btw, how do like those SM450's? I wanted to buy a pair for my office rig, but can't pony up $800:(

I found them for around 300 bucks FWIW a pair.

However they suck out of the box. Like by far some of the worst speakers I have ever owned out of the box. WOW!

Now after 200 dollars in mods (for all four)? Well the center has a Auricap on the tweeter and the surrounds have a Dayton - the Auricap is a whole other beast and totally worth the money... I also lined the speaker extensively with sound barrier to deaden the cabinet.

The Definitives are amazing speakers for their size, digging well to 40hz and the highs are smooth and crisp. Vocal clarity is amazing.. Out of the box? They are the most annoying, worst sounding speakers I have ever heard.

Yeah, but we are talking about Trey here.....if a speaker can't play 5,000 decibels out of the box, it sucks.

No I dont care if they play loud - the highs were shrill, bleak and distorted - smeared if you will...

The Auricap cleaned that right up.

I am comparing that to the Seas excel tweeter which is a far superior tweeter...

    Mileage may vary

Not to mention the enclosure on that speaker is noisey - added alot of boom to the sound of the speaker.

I added sonic barrier to every surface possible and it tightened everything up and made it dig a little deeper.

I dunno - Im an audio snob I guess? hehe
