It totally is, a hardcore RTS gamer with such a bad judge of character that he uses cellphones to interpret people, looking for a roommate. hahahaha// Panasonic AE8000 // Pioneer SC-57 // Polk Audio RTi A9 // Polk Audio CSiA6 //

I'm quite tired of all the "iRections" myself.. but not to the point of letting it make my life choices."I did not slap you. I high-fived your face."

I'm laughing at the fact that this guy is willing to pay $1,400 a month.....For a room!
I've got a 1,200 sq. ft. house on 3.5 acres, for HALF of that:eek::pI refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE! -

REGARDS SNOWWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all -
Things are cheaper in Bubba land versus NY city

As I post this on my iPhone, I actually agree but not just iPhone owners. I hate big cell phone braggers. I don't brag about my phone because it's not unique in any way. A million people own it and there's better phones out. But when people try to go on and on about their droid, ugh! The only, ONLY reason I have an iPhone over a droid, I like that my car has a cable for an iPod and at work (retail electronics) I have docks that I can just dock it in to use the iPod where droid people carry around a mini to RCA cord. That's it.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.
Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.
Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener. -

Exactly, I would say that there is roughly a 50/50 split between my friends that own a Android device and those that own an iPhone. We all can appreciate the pros and cons to each platform and will frequently show one another cool games, apps, etc, never bragging or boasting.
However, there are many people where I work that will go on forever about their Droid and how they rooted it and have hundreds of Nintendo games, etc. This is a daily occurrence and I have learned to tune it out but the Starcraft junkie that posted that ad is deluded if he thinks people that obsess over tech are limited to Apple products.// Panasonic AE8000 // Pioneer SC-57 // Polk Audio RTi A9 // Polk Audio CSiA6 //

In my experience, it is the people who are being introduced into seemingly new advances in tech, that are the ones who go on and on about their phone. It tends to be people who go from a Motorola Razr or other basic phone, to an iPhone (and it is usually the iPhone due to the marketing, or other non-techies who go on and on about their phone). People who obsess over tech (and understand it) don't see the iPhone as 'super wicked deadly' because they have owned various smartphones that could run applications, and think the iPhone is just a re-incarnation of something that has already been done with a better UI. The techies that do own it, don't feel the need to show it off.
again: personal experience only. No generalizations beyond my world are implied!
Ultimately though, if someone you knew went on an on about the same thing every time you saw them and it slowly pushed you to your breaking point, I wouldn't blame you for actively trying to avoid re-living a similar situation again. -

I completely agree and what you mentioned is most likely the case. I was just simply pointing out that it is most definitely not limited to one brand. Due to the popularity of the devices, I can see it being more common with the iPhone, etc.// Panasonic AE8000 // Pioneer SC-57 // Polk Audio RTi A9 // Polk Audio CSiA6 //

In Chicago, he lives with a college friend. "He’s a really big Mac guy, he's always kind of inundating me with information about how sexy his new iPhone is," he said. "Lots of iPhone talk. Completely unsolicited. I just can't take it anymore."
Agreed. -
Hilarious. I have had an iPhone for just over a week now, but it is really nothing special and I don't brag about it. I actually dislike most Apple products (I gave up on iPod and went Zune HD). I have it only because I wanted to spend less than $100 on my new phone upon contract renewal and the iPhone was my favorite in that price range. AT&T doesn't offer the phones I like more.- Jeremy
