Commercial

I was watching tv the other night and this commercial comes on and totally takes me by suprise with it's direction.
It starts out with a home video of a 12 year old girl which had captions of tidbit info about the girl. You know it is not going to be a good outcome. I thought it was going to be a thing where she was killed by a drunk driver or abducted. As it gets towards the end, they start talking about depression. So then I thought it was just associated with a 12 year old and adolescents who suffer from depression. Then it drops the bomb. The 12 year old girl commited suicide by hanging herself. I'm like WTF, that made me very sad. The video showed her being happy-go-lucky and the like. You know...just the way you'd hope a 12 year old would.
Then it states that nearly 65000 people a year sufferring from depression commit suicide.
I guess the reason it struck me so much is that my daughter is 12 and I'd have a hard ever imagining that she would hang herself or let alone kill herself period.
Too me, death by hanging is a violent way to go and to think a 12 year old did that just suprises me.
I tried looking for the commercial to post but I haven't found it yet. If I do, I will post it cuz I just found it compelling.
