I just read a news story from the following link http://www.highfidelityreview.com/news/news.asp?newsnumber=18376505

Seems the new LSiC and the Fx surrounds are getting a face lift, along with choice of wood colors!

Looks like RTi series, not LSi.

Those are beautiful. Only thing I'd love to see would be a bookshelf paying homage to the 55i's. That would be a gorgeous speaker with that styling and make a nice in-between choice between the towers and bookshelfs, like the 55's did. O well, still some great looking stuff coming our way.

Are those Vifa Tweeters the same as what's in the current line up of Polk speakers (i.e. the RTi70's or the RTi38's)? I've been really impressed with quality of Vifa's products.

No Vifa's in the RT series, however, I can't tell you if they were farmed out, and to whom.

Russ, the link above does in fact show Vifa tweeters, but not Ring Radiators (ala Lsi)

Ok, I see on the product page link, a pic has been added. To tell the truth guys, I think that sucks that they went with a neodymium tweeter. The truth will be in listening, but thats not TOO far from the R series tweeter. I take it that is the Vifa D26NC-55-06, the only compact tweeter they make (that I'm aware of).

I'm certainly not as excited as I was. Looks to be pretty flat from 2KHz to 15Khz, a couple humps, 2 of which look to be at 5KHz, and about 12Khz. 20Khz looks to be about 3-4db down from that spike at 12Khz.

    Cheers,
    Rooster

    Sorry, forgot the link:
