Ok I have a vaulted great room that i'm putting a 5.1 surround in my ? is. with the size of the room would it be better to go with a RTI or an FXI The speakers are going to be on opposite walls about 6 feet from sitting area, and the room continues back another 15' behind where the speakers are. I'm thinking the RTI would be better since its more directional, It will pretty much only be used for theater

Thanks

Someone just posted the same thing yesterday. I have a reply on there as I have a lot of space in the back and I have gone to towers. Surrounds did nothing. Big bookshelf did better the towers rock.

Thanks for the reply, I would love to put rear towers but I think My wife would kill me she doesn't really want towers in the front but I never let her know that not doing towers in the front is an option,( becuase it isn't naturally) So looks like the bookshelf mounted on the wall will be my best option.

    thanks again
