I purchased a Monitor 7 / Carver 2-channel rig from a CP member in January. It had been living in my TV room because I could not figure out how to make my RT5000p / Onkyo 876 system fit. I know measure first ... buy second ... but I can be impulsive and I got a "deal". There was just NO way for me to make the CS1000p work.

Fast forward to last night and up pops a minty CS400 for $100 local. Picked it up this afternoon. Spent the day moving speakers to try some 3-channel TV viewing.:D

Great price on the CS400, and yes, I agree, they work fantastic with the SDA's.

First...Ricardo is not just any other CP member...he is like an audio crack dealer (AKA great guy)... Here, just try the peerless with an amp. Oh, and that first try is cheap, but once you're hooked;) That system had almost nightly use for 6 months with my infant to now almost 9 months. Happy belated birthday...I was lurking to see if you were gonna Karma the Gallos on your b-day. Hope the Italian dinner was good! How are the 15TL's working?

Now to see how I like the towers for music. I had not considered SDA fronts for HT. I guess I could try the 2Bs before I settle in and move them on.

The 2.3 will not be neglected. Still gathering parts. Be patient with me Vette. Let me get a job and progress will happen:)

I'll PM on the 1000. Back to the Santana tower test.
