Eric's Update

This post is for the many inquiries and well wishes for my son Eric. About a month and half ago I posted that he had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemo therapy. Since then he has completed two full "cycles" and has just started a third.

The good news is that earlier this week he was run through a complete set of scans, the first since diagnosis. The results place him right on track for recovery and the cancer is significantly reduced.

Thanks go out to everyone in CP for the well wishes, prayers and concerns.
Better times seem right around the corner!

    Thanks to all. I certainly feel the well wishes and prayers have put Eric in a better place. His attitude through all has been really stellar and he has actually helped other kids at the hospital out of some doldrums.

    Very heartwarming to know the post has helped others on a not so good day!

    He's been somewhat of a rock and completely positive, the hospital staff has taken notice and has used him to relay warmth to others.
    He makes a dad really proud.

    Ok Polkie have let him know the CP family is in his corner....Thanks everyone!

    This post gives me a real chuckle because as the attached picture here of Eric shows he is seventeen and was all of 264 lbs. and a lineman for the high school football team....not so much little guy. Haven't been able to call him that for quite a few years.
