Got a new tube int.

Been listening for the past few hours now. This thing is super. 6 seductive watts per channel.
The outputs are EL34 strapped in triode in SE. I have them powering 100db/w/m Edgarhorn and sounds like I have unlimited power. Transformers are military grade Russian R-core.

Only 2 were made. I bought one and the shop owner is keeping the other. It's made by the guys who build Audio Zone equipments. Even though AZ is pure SS, the guys who build/design them are tube heads. I see them at least once a month and love talking audio with them.

I'm really enjoying the sound. After going around a full circle, it's great to get back to horns and tubes. This is my sound:).

    What are the drivers? 6SN7s?

    I dig the el-34 sound, although the flea amps remain a wormhole not yet passed through in the rabbit hole, I think 20 was my lowest ever. maybe one day......so many amps....but a good thing, amps that is, I jonesed quite a while for Avantgarde, of course the path led me to Stats.....its all good though and cool your digging it, you have rolled just about all the tubes over the years.

    Congrats...looks very nice. I have the 6SN7GT's in my hybrid Butler and love the sound.

    power is highly over-rated as an amplifier performance parameter

    Organ- Glad to hear you are finding out what you enjoy the most. I've never heard the flea tube amp w/horns combo, but hope to at some point.

    Yeah, the signal tubes are 6SN7. I can't wait to try the new Shuguangs on it.

    Yeah lol, I rolled almost all the EL34's. I really like their sound. It's funny how we sometimes end up with set ups we didn't imagine. I had no idea I was gonna get back into horns.
