I need recommendations for my next upgrade. My gear is in my sig.
I am currently running a MIT EXP-1 speaker wire to my center channel and swapped it out with one of the aq type4s and noticed a improvement especially with cymbals. What do you think about buying EXP-1s for my mains? Or should I look further up the MIT line. I would also like to consider other brands.
Thanks in advance.

So im considering buying the 10' b-stock MIT EXp 1 for $118 on audiogon. I emailed the seller to see if he had them in the 8' size or if he had the AVt 3 for sale.
He said he could get me the 8' AVt 3 new for 209. Are they worth the extra 90 dollars?
    Im seriously considering them.
Please if anyone has any experience with them, let me know!
    Thanks

He has a few sets of the EXp-1 but the AVt-3 he would order. But 209 is the price for them + shipping, which cant be much considering the weight and size of cables.
mole do you think it is a significant upgrade over the EXp-1? Worth the extra 90?

AVt-3 is a better cable. If you have the extra coin, it's well spent.

Joe is a great guy to work with and he will steer you in the right direction concerning what you are looking for.

He also IMO gives great deals on stuff. I owned the EXP 3 speaker cables and they were good. I then moved up to the MIT T2's with AVT3 IC's and think they are much better (T2's) over the EXP line. The T2s are the older model similar to the AVT line. I think it would be a good move to go for the AVT's if you can afford it as IMO they are a better cable. However even if you can't afford it the EXP are still good for the money.

I have decided to go for it and order a pair of AVt-3 speaker cables. I hope they show a increase in sound quality over the EXp-1 that the EXp-1 showed compared to the AQ type4.

give them some time too before making a decision. They tend to take some break in so just give it a bit if you can. I personally like them better however it will come down to what your ears decide on what you like better, than and if you feel the money was well spent, but also you really dont need to upgrade for awhile as those cables will be a good run for awhile.
