Anyone on CP drive one of these? I'm interested in trading in my car for one and was wondering about your impressions of the car. Thx!

    PM me... I sell Subi's.

They are among the safest, most reliable cars on the planet and also hold their value better than any car on the road.

We are having a hard time with inventory and that is hurting sales. The factory is working 20 hours a day, 6 days a week trying to keep up, and have been doing so for more than a year.

We've had a 04 wrx wagon since 03. They sold out of 03s and have 04s out in July! Have had no trouble and 80k on it so far. Still has the original brake pads. It will need rotors and pads soon though. Installed a stiffer rear sway bar a couple of years ago. I wish we had done it on day one. Will install the front when the brakes are done. Great car. Dream about a STI, but am very happy with the wrx.

I had a '92 Legacy in college.. I sold it when it needed some serious repairs around 2004 (instead of fixing it myself) and regetted the decision ever since..

I'd love to get another one someday, so fun to drive...

I was looking at a 2.5i wagon or sedan. The wagon would be nice because I have kids and would like to have an alternative to driving the Grand caravan everywhere. My current car is an Acura RSX and although it's been a great car it's useless in the snow.

I have a GT wagon, actually a manual transmission one that was only offered in 05. Mine is almost as far from stock as can be, but it has been an awesome car. It has handled 18 inches of snow in Colorado and also been to a few track days... ;)

    They are good cars!

I've owned a 2003 WRX (new) and currently drive a 2005 WRX I also bought new, now with about 70,000 miles on it. Awesome cars, fun and dependable. The AWD is super, I've been through New England winters without any trouble getting around.

I almost traded in for a Legacy GT but when they changed the body style I stopped looking. I am a fan of the style before they made the latest change, not so sure on the new style.

I hear you! The new style looks too blocky.

Thanks for the offer, that is the exact car I was looking at. I really wish I was in a position to entertain this idea again but I just got married in May and bought a new house, so right now I'm hoping my WRX lasts, let's say...another 30 years or so.

Hi. I have owned Subarus for years. I currently have a 2006 Subaru Legacy wagon. No issues at all and only the normal maint. required. I will say though that the one thing I do not like is that there is a lack of leg room for anyone over 5'4" or so in the back. The leg room is cramped in the back for sure. Very reliable and safe vehicles. I will say that I did mod the engine some and added a few things underneath the car since I like to 'get on it' every now and then. This wagon handles like a sports car if you need it to,lol. Plus, with a few mods to the GT it will smoke tons of sports cars. Nothing like pulling up to a light next to a new Camaro or Stang and smokin' them. My favorite grocery getter yet.

Thanks for the feedback BigMac. I did notice it looked a little cramped in the back seat. Do you have the GT or 2.5i? What mods did you do?

    Thanks!

I don't think the backseat is as bad as BigMac says, I have regularly had 2 adults that were over 5'8" in the back with folks that were 5'10" and 6' in the front. Now we have a car seat back there and have (for a short time) fit 2 smaal adult women back there. Most of the time it fits 3 adults comfortable with my son. (and the 90 lb black lab/rot mix in the back ;))

My GT has coil-overs, Stoptech brakes front and rear, a built high compression motor w/ swapped turbo, completely redone intake and exhaust paths, and a slightly modified interior...

^^^I said driving through 18" of snow, not how much had fallen ;) (Which was 3' in 24 hours at the time in Vail)

I am pretty proud of it since I only have about 4.5-5" of clearance with the coil-overs. It looked like I had plowed the road :D
