Almost pulled trigger on RTi A5, now considering LS70

I'm trying to figure out the best Polk speakers to put in my system. I'll eventually replace mains, center and surrounds and am willing to do this in steps.
Most of the use is Home theater with dance music pushed around the house (and in the 3000+ cu ft. main room with open sides).
I've got an SVS PC-13Ultra subwoofer on it's way with Anti-Mode 8033 EQ and want to upgrade the rest of the system to match within the limits of the Pioneer Elite SC-25.
I've kind of narrowed down to RTi A5 as the mains with A6 center/surround, then I came across a decent deal on "vintage" LS70 ($300, will be inspecting tomorrow, owner-acquired 5 years ago) . Should I really consider the LS70 instead of the RTi A5?
I'm using Pioneer Elite SC-25 to drive them, and I don't want to invest in an additional amplifier. I *really* like the Advanced MCACC on the Pioneer adjusting the sound on my current 5 speakers. I'm hoping the MCACC will EQ-out some of the muddy midrange I've read about the LS70.
Advice?

I would consider them over the RTiA5 personally... but i'm unsure if i would pay $300 for them.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

The 70's are the least desireable of the LS series IMO. Midrange is somewhat bloated with the larger drivers compared to the 50's and 90's...
