So..first of all has anybody heard of 36 Crazyfists? I didn't think so, they're my absolute favorite band out there - heavy metal of course. They're new CD Collisions And Castaways just came out tuesday. Every CD they release after A Snow Capped Romance just hasn't been the same or as good for some reason. But they did manage to make a part II to Waterhaul and I think they did a better job on part II. Also they made a ballad (yes it's awesome) called Caving In Spirals where they just sing. For a heavy emo band Brock Lindow has an awesome singing voice. GO OUT AND COP DAT **** YO!!!!

Never heard of them.....would never pay to hear some screaming, but I'll give a listen to some samples out of curiosity...
edit: Just listened to some samples, the non screaming songs were OK and def. can't handle the screaming stuff. Maybe it's my aging ears but I can't handle much of this genre these days. Come to think of it, I got tired of Sabbath & company easily back in the day too so I guess it's just me and not my ears. :)

Well Bob I have to commend you for at least listening to them for me :) thank you on that. I dunno what is myself about screaming heavy metal but I can't get enough of it lol for some reason. I guess being young dumb and....I get energized over it. For the most part the guitar is really fast and skillful and the screaming gets you pumped up with really excellent singing.

If you're referring to the "Technical Ecstasy" era (and later), you shall be allowed to live.
If you're referring to the era prior to that, I'm sorry ..... you will have to be sent to The Corn.

RE: 36 Crazyfists. They're in the ballpark, as long as they don't skip tracks into the cheap Speed/Industrial Metal genre (aka "Hey ! Slow the heck down, emphasize those riffs, if it sounds like I could do it it can't be too good !")
