Will you buy a Beach Boys SACD? It will be coming from Mobile Fidelity

No confirmation yet at MoFi's website, but looks like Beach Boy's "Today" album will be coming to SACD, along with Graham Parker's "GP" album.

And in case it was lost within the Japan Universal single-layer SACD thread, MoFi is also readying Foreigner's self-titled album and Pretenders' "Pretenders II" for release on SACD.

They created a unique sound. Their harmonies stand alone. Of course I will if proper care is taken and mofi has the rep to do it. Like to see the Ventures get released as well.

+1 on both the Beach Boys & the Ventures. I already have a bit of a collection of the Beach Boys on cd. They would sound great on a SACD.

I already have the entire catalog (excluding "best of" or "greatest hits") so I don't have any reason to replace them.

I might consider Pet Sounds if it ever gets released on SACD just because that was probably the best Brian ever produced and I would like to hear it at its best.

No I won't get it, but I'm happy to hear Mofi continues to make new SACD's.

Rumored that Analogue Productions will be doing the Beach Boys catalog on SACD and DSD download. Stay tune.

Me either and boy I've tried many times. Recently I bought a lot of gold CD's and SACD's that averaged out to about $7.50 each. You had to buy them all. He would not split it up. Among that lot was Pet Sounds and I'm sorry to say I couldn't make it 1/2 way thru the disc.

While I will not buy an SACD, they did have some good songs in the 60s. However, now I get irritated whenever I see a picture of them because Mike Love is so embarrassed by being bald he always wears a hat. If it bothers you that bad then get a permanent hair piece.
