    Thanks for the welcome, Hawkeye. I've had the username since last May when I first bought Polk (Monitor 70s) but haven't posted much. I haven't heard old school Polks before, but I imagine they sound great like every other Polk speaker I've heard. Mine sound great, but I know I'm not letting them live up to their potential (powering them with an older Sony DE595 receiver right now, along with a CS1 and a pair of Monitor 30s).
