So, what upgraded power cable do you Pioneer BDP users utilize?

I ask because, for some reason my Signal Cable Digital Reference power cord doesn't sit firmly in my players socket.

Not the cords fault, it seats firmly inside a few other components and the weird thing is my generic power cables fit in the Pio player firmly as well so it ain't the players' fault

I could just leave it plugged in, but I want some peace of mind. I could also just replace the IEC on the player but I'd hate to open it up...it's in mint condition (thanks Dane!)

So what do you guys use?

Weird thing is, the signalcable end (left) seems to have it's pins (inside the socket that grab the male end) closer/tighter yet it feels loose on the player as opposed to the stock cords end (right). What gives!

Wrap some Teflon tape around it until snug.

    I'll do just that!

Just seemed the signalcable's end was a bit bigger already compared to the stock end but you're right, wrapping it won't hurt :p

I put teflon tape, only took one wind around the socket and it fits snugly.

Love the signalcable power cord :D
