Does it need to be a multi-disc changer or are you just looking for a unit that will reproduce SACD's well?

If it doesn't need to be a multi-disc changer, I have an Oppo DV-980H that is great for SACD's, is the fastest-loading player I've ever encountered, and has some pretty great DVD upscaling to boot...

Don't be afraid to shop around. I am hesitant to sell it to anyone here after what it has been through. It may find it's way to a Karma thread when I get it back. I can't take money for damaged goods.

I have both a Yamaha DVD-S2300 and DVD-S2300 MKII that I was about to list on ebay. Both units are in great shape, and they play both SACDs and DVD-Audio discs, in addition to CDs/DVDs/etc. DVDs look great due to Faroudja DCDi processing, and the analog audio is incredible with the Burr-Brown DACs. These are built like tanks with double-wall construction and weigh in at close to 20 lbs.

Since I have an Oppo 83 which plays all of the above along with Blu-ray discs, the Yamaha's just aren't needed any more. I used the MKII for video duties, while the non-MKII version was used in the dedicated 2-channel system.

Original remote, shipping boxes, power cord, etc. I think I have the original manuals as well (on biz trip at the moment), but are downloadable from Yamaha website if need be. I'm the second owner for both these units, purchased via Audiogon about 3-4 years ago. Neither player has seen much use for the past few years and are currently in storage.

Send me a PM if still looking for a player, I'm sure we could work out an agreeable deal. I have 100% FB on Ebay, Audiogon, AVS...
