Seaton Sound Submersive . . . the best sub ever, period.

I heard a Seaton Submersive today at the hometheater of a friend of a friend. IT's the best soundings most musical and hardest hitting sub I have ever heard, period. Now, remember I haven't heard all subs, but I can say it sounded better than a JL F12 and SVS PB12/2. Why? Cause the dude had those in his room too . . . they're on the sale which is why I was there. Ugh, I came to buy a JL and now I want a Seaton.

The Seaton Sound website is under construction, but I understand the designer is easy to get a hold of and willing to make a custom job for you. Just $2k . . . ugh.

Anyway FYI:

*A robust, high efficiency, 1,000W ICEpower based amplifier with SMPS power supply.
*Isolated balanced input eliminating common ground loop problems
*Cabinet dimensions: 24.25" W x 17.5" D x 25.5" H

Way out of my price range but dual 15s and 1000 watts of ice power seems like it would probably be a tasty combo.

There is an HP version available as well that comes with a 2400w amp.

Can't forget about his other new offering the Terraform XL which will be equal to 3-4 submersives at about 25hz and below.

Those Seaton subs look gorgeous! If you say they sound better than JL's then they must be something extra special.

Is this the flavor of the month for Visa/MC?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Lol.

I still want to hear the Definitive Super Cube Trinity. Remember when we saw the prototype at CES a few years back? Something like 2 active 14" woofs, 4 14" passive radiators?

Ever since I read about that sub and trinity church - my curiosity has been peaked...

It seems like a real monster from a bigger company
