And you think 250,000 miles is considered high mileage....

2.8 million miles, sounds like someone needs to get a life and out from behind the wheel.
    If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

Great article, not only does he have 2.8 million on one car... in the mean time he put another 450k on the other... I would have to average 175 miles per day over the next 50 years to catch up with him in miles driven from just those two cars.

And in a P1800 to boot. I was expecting it to be a 240.

    Yes, seriously.

Lets just take this quote from the article and some basic averages, and hope I do my math right (I suck at math).
That feat will require him to drive an average of around 5,500 miles per month.

5,500 / 30 (days in a month) that's 183 mile per day. Average 40mph (city/highway average) and that's almost 5 hours a day behind the wheel. So he likes driving, calls it a hobby, but seriously 5 hours a day, 150 hours per month of your life, driving.

I used to commute a total of 3.5 hours a day, so I don't see that too far out of the realm of possibility.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I (and most of us) spend 8+ hours a day 5 days a week doing something that I DON'T consider a hobby but a means to make a living. I wish I could spend that time doing something I enjoy instead.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I think between his extreme hatred of Death Proof and those who drive excessively, Ron's parents must have been eaten by cars when he was young.

Hahaha, yeah, my parents owned Christine.

I had a job that started to require too much time behind the wheel. I took a much less paying job to avoid that. I won't do it, too much in life to enjoy rather then driving through it.

I'm with you on that. That commute was soul-crushing.

I probably have driven close to that ( 1.5 mil ), but in 50 plus vehicles.
Lost count, really, and don't care to remember them either.
But too, some of us drove for a living in our work, and in company vehicles, which would add to the plus part, and most of the miles.
