Are these of any use? WWII Navy Ships Motorola Radio's /Tube Amplifiers?

Someone local has some of these they are selling for $60, and I was wondering if they have any possibilities????? Too much work??

I searched around but could not find out much about them...
maybe just salvage the tubes???

    $60? I'd grab em just for giggles. The potted trannies and chokes are where the money will be in these. Could be several Franklins in your pocket, or just a conversation peice for the garage, I'd have to see some markings to tell you. As far as an audio application, not likely - the amp on the far left is the only one appearing to sport two output transformers.

    Yeah? I will try and get by and see them in the next couple of days....
    I thought that left amp looked like a possibility....
    Like the idea too of a couple of beji's in my pocket :D:D

    all kinds of goodies ensconced in those chassis. As Russ said and Face implied, well worth snagging. Chance favors the prepared mind (or the prepared parts graveyard, in this case).
