new & used cable websites

Searching for some used IC's and bi-wire speaker cable and found these websites..http://www.fatwyre.com/ and
http://www.jeffssoundvalues.com. Found most of what I'm looking for on these sites and thought I'd post them.

    Well, hopefully in your search for some goo bi-wires you'll be able to stumble across some ICs too. What are you looking for? Do you live near any transmitters?

    Looking for some Transparent IC's on the cheap..Yea.. Right. Thought I had found some in The Cable Company website but turns out they are 1.5m not 1m. I connected some loaners (musiclink plus) yesterday morning but unfortunately going to have to return them. Just wanted to hear how much better sounding they are than the monsters'.

    What do you mean "do I live near any transmitters"?

    I was just curious if you live near any radio towers, high voltage, etc. I too check the used cable market and would make possible suggestions. It is my belief that shielding is not always necessary and on some systems can actually be less than optimal. If you're in close proximity of these beasts than shielding is pretty much mandatory, if not there is often a degree of loss depending on the dielectric used.

    Mark, thought that is what you ment.. wasn't sure. To answer, no, none close to me. I did find last night 2 pair of transparent musiclink plus 1m but I still need just one more cable, not a pair. Hopeful I can find just one if not looks like one more pair is on order. Got the pair for $260 used. How ya coming along?
