Oy Vey! I would expect to pay that for a good steak in a good steak house.

Last night for dinner I had a few Amour ($1 a 1lb package) hot dogs with mustard, ketchup, relish, cheese, and raw onions and was quite satified.

Just today we had a Frozen Hot Chocolate desert from Serendiptiy 3 for desert after lunch. My daughter brought it back from her recent trip to NYC. It WAS good...but it didn't cost $69.

....OK !!! ALL BEEF of course!!!

Name your favorite HOT dog. ....and how you cook it....and favorite condiments. Of course this is a "REGIONAL" thing. But coleslaw is great on a good dog.

....#1 of course in DC...no great regional dogs here .....is Hebrew National or Nathan's....both over priced. I like "Ball Park" franks....usually on sale. On the grille or fried in a sesame oil w/chile, hot peppers and raw onions. Of course the "ROLL" is important...sometimes steamed and others toasted. The all American Dog.

When I was a kid, many many moons ago, 3 dogs for a buck....in Bethlehem, PA. A Philly Staek & Cheese was $.45 .The good ole days. Minimum wage , of course , was $1.25. Still fond memories.

...A MacDonald burger was $.15 ...same for fries. Meal under a buck.
