Typing test

Out of morbid curiosity, and the wife wanted to know...
I had a 29 WPM, and with errors, a 22 WPM average.
Funny, I didn't see any errors, self compensating ?
Never once trained, yet an average typer, cool.
I used the three minute sports test.
What do you type per minute ?

I once had a customer say to me as I tried not to laugh " Wow, you do better with two fingers than I do with two hands. "

Man, never taken one that long before. I bet it's MUCH more accurate, though. I got 83wpm with 13 erros (eek), so it adjusted to 78wmp.

With Baseball, got 90 with two errors -> 88WPM.

I find it hilarious that someone saw the OP typing 22-29 WPM with two fingers and thought it was fast.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

    Me too.
    I thought I was fast.
And I am, compared to how I was in 1998.
    I think I was 1 or 2 WPM then.

Well that's kind of why the test doesn't start until you start typing. So you can read through what you're going to type a few times rather than relying on strict reading.

The errors kind of don't make sense nowadays. Is anyone still using a typewriter? Everything in the office suite has an autocorrect option, so I don't have to think about getting every word exactly right.

I got 52WPM before errors and 49WPM after errors.

I sort of use a 2 handed peck style, which is a combo of playing shooter video games way back when using the WSAD keys, and playing the piano. I've never learned home row or anything like that, which is where my speed is hindered I guess...
