Where do I plug wire from laptop to receiver

I am running an RCA wire from my laptop headphone jack to my receiver, but I am uncertain about where the jack (two plugs) will plug into my receiver.
I have a Harman Kardon 3490 with CD inputs, Tape/CDR Inputs, Phono inputs and various video input slots.
I will have a CD "jukebox" and Phono, so should I use the "Tape/CDR Input" slot
I want to play iTunes from my laptop.
Thanks for your input!

Yup, you can use any input (besides the phono) regardless of it's 'intended labeling.' I could even use the video plug-in slots?? There are several of those...

You can use the audio portion of the video input. You cannot plug it into the actual video plugs. -

I recently went through this and used this (instead of headphone jack/rca due to computer hiss and terrible SQ through the computer): http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/sound-cards/audio-advantage-micro-ii/gclid/cizaovx6wkicfqu-sgodt35h6q.aspx
Then I got this: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10229&cs_id=1022901&p_id=2763&seq=1&format=2
I checked, and you have and optical-in jack in the back of your H/K. Waaaaay better sound than using rca's (I tried the rca from headphone jack first, and it sounded AWFUL!). I needed something reasonable as the first attempt at using the computer as a source, and it worked like a charm. BTW, the toslink cable from Monoprice is an unbelievable build quality - looks like a $100 cable (though I'm sure it doesn't sound like one).
The Turtle Beach can also be used as a headphone output (sound is night and day difference from the cheap headphone out jack supplied with the computer).
This is my first post...
Good luck..... ><////(*> -
Thanks, all, very good information. I'll check out the links!
