Liquor will make a fool out of the wisest men (in sufficient quantity). It's a shame the young man didn't get a chance to become a little older and hopefully.....wiser.:(

I don't think any amount of liquor could make me do something as stupid as that. I don't get drunk often...actually, I rarely get drunk. But even drunk there is a part of my brain that is still reasoning and understanding what is going on around me.

Why slap the train when you could just throw rocks at it?

My friends and I often talk about this movie at the bar. Often we find it is like real life all to much, as many many people younger than me from high school have started to have children when they in no way, shape, or form should be.

If true .... He was the best and brightest of the "dumbass breed".

Did not Mythbusters do a show about something similar?
I see the my grandkids setting the precedence for the theme of "Idiocracy".

heck you could be like people around our state. One UW college always had the problem of people getting drunk then falling into a river and drowning because they were dumb and went down there. There are stories though that its someone that pushes the people into it, however one is more inclined to think that the beer of mass quanity was all the "push" needed.

yes I've done very stupid things while drunk, blacked out, passed out (in a way) but no I would not ever slap a train.

Of course there are other things that might get slapped then a train  :p
