Finishing Touches to new TV Room

My wife and I decided to convert our old bedroom into a tv room as this summer our youngest daughter moved away to go to college. We started by remodeling her bedroom and making it our new room ( new paint and carpet). Next we started on our old bedroom. This was a bigger job as we had to remove a wall to wall organizing unit,which left 20 holes in the one wall where some anchors were. This was a bit of a job for me as drywall repair is not what I would call my forte. Then we painted and bought a new power reclining sofa and entertainment center. Today I picked up pictures that I sent away to get plaque mounted and hung them.
I can't tell you how good it feels to be at this stage. During this whole process work has been very busy and I have begun to realize that I'm not as young as I used to be. Anyway here are some pics of what I've done;

    Very nice RW. I too really like the look of the Cherry. Wish I could do it over and get mine in Cherry.

    I noticed you put your centre in the same place I did mine. (to date I have not had any issues).

    If you could, try and push those cables as close to the wall as possible for a super clean look or buy some white plastic moulding and hide them in there along the baseboards and it will look super. Very nice again!!

    +2 on the cherry finish; I let my ex decide on black over cherry for me, which will never happen again...

    Room's looking great! I'm moving to a condo next week and don't think I'll be able to use my system to it's fullest. I am envious of your new HT digs.

    Very nice room RW! I agree you should tidy up your cables. Keep up the good work, very rewarding for you and your wife, great room to relax. The colors are perfect for relaxing during tunes and movies watching.

    Good work, good plan!
    There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin
