Chemical Brothers?

Okay, it's not "audiophile" music. But sometimes I just want something with a good beat... and for that, I'll turn to Chemical Brothers. Listening to "Morning Lemon" while working on computers right now.

So, anyone else have some guilty techno pleasures when they're not listening to Enya, Tori Amos, and Arne Domnerus?

I didn't even make it a year before repeating myself.... not too much interest last time, which is probably why I forgot about it *facepalm*

Crystal Method is great, Chemical Bros make sweet beats, but LCD Soundsystem is where its at! Murphy's latest (last?) release is the best. I find it to be very good music to use to listen to as an Audiophile. Great recording quality. Crystal Method's remastered 10th year re-release of Vegas is also very good. Makes the original release sound bad. But I guess the original was made in their basement.

I'm very big into electronica music.

Depends on what I want to listen to. There is House, Hard house, techno (not my fav), break beat, drum and bass, ect ect. Typically what I listen to is considered Trance.

Some of my favs that I currently have playing.
    DJ Tiesto
    After Dark series (Paris)
    Sasha
    Digweed
Minstry of Sound - they are mostly mixes so various artist but sometime they have some good songs put together.
DJ Bad Boy Bill (he Ok a few tracks are good)
    Paul Van ****
    Dogzilla

and so many more. I have a vinyl recording that I forgot the artist name but it was mentioned in a Sterophile review and is very very good. If you want to test out the bass in a system then this track will do it for you but the name escapes me right now.

    Bikerboy...
I got a chance to see LCD Soundsystem open up for Arcade Fire a few years back. They put on a helluva show.

    I'd like to add...
    Skinny Puppy
    Revolting ****
    KMDFM

I've never been to a "louder" show than a Ministry show circa Psalm 69. The chicken wire (ala The Blues Brothers) around the stage only added to the chaos. Who needs eardrums anyway?

Yep, got those too. Well not Skinny Puppy. The beats were great, it was all that distorted singing that gave me a headache after awhile. I actually saw Skinny Puppy in concert in Dallas at Club Clearview. He frightened me! LOL!

listen to this track if you want to give your speakers some good bass workout...the best is the vinyl recording IMO as I have both.

Also John Digweed-Structures is a very good album IMO.
