    Hello,
Thanks for participating in the Forum. The best way to troubleshoot the AMR series is to try an alternative audio source. For example a portable CD player or a Walkman anything that has a stereo mini-plug headphone jack. Once you've found this remove the AMR150 green plug from the back of your computer. Then place this cable into the headphone jack of the other audio source. Begin playing a CD/tape with the volume control set low. There should be proper sound coming from the bass unit and the two front satellites. If this checks out correctly, remove the green connector from the player and insert the cable with the blue plug. Now the remaining two surround sattelites should begin playing.
If you are still having problems with the bass performance, please contact me at 1-800-377-7655 extension 891 or kswauger@polkaudio.com and I'll be happy to help.
    Regards, Ken Swauger

    Hello,
In that case the sub-woofer would need to be sent to us at Polk Audio, 2550 Britannia Blvd., Suite D, San Diego, CA. 92154. Please include a short note giving us your name and address and a copy of your sales receipt. The service department will quickly get the unit working perfectly and send it to you, at no charge.
