100 Greatest Recordings of All Time (The Franklin Mint Record Society)

G'day All,

I chanced across a box earlier today containing one third of the Franklin Mint Record Society's - "100 Greatest Recordings of All Time" and am digging around to see what a full set in very good condition might cost me.

I realise that the collection will weigh a fair bit and will also need to travel to Canberra, Australia - but if anyone has any feedback on likely costs - or even better - has a set for sale, please reply / email me with details.

    Thanks for the info. When I searched google I spotted the offer for sale, but as you mentioned in your second message - he was looking for a local sale. I also hit upon another seller in Denver, Colarado, but they have yet to get back to me re: shipping.

    Still looking for this set? I have the whole thing in excellent condition. Some of the volumes are still in the original plastic. I haven't had a chance to inspect the records thoroughly, but I think flaws and scratches are very minimal a most. The original owners probably didn't listen to them very much, I suspect. I might be willing to part with the set if you are interested. I'd have to ship from the states.

    I have 62 of them. Do I win?

    There are 50 volumes, each volume contains two albums. I have 31 volumes.

    What are the chances I have something someone is looking for??

    I do have the complete set all 50 volumes (100 lp's)
    Approx. 10 have been opened played 1x. the rest are still sealed!

    Unfortunately I'm in Michigan, and let be tell you with the binders and booklets
    These come with, their quite heavy!!

    I'm afraid shipping would be a fortune?

    If your still looking for a set, shoot me an offer?

    The flaws and scratches are very minimal a most. The original owner probably listen to them once a time, he was a collector. I might be willing to part with the set if somebody ist interested.
