I wasn't looking, but thats when you find good deals. I was idly browsing my local CL and found a clean looking pair of RTi towers hidden in with some Cerwin Vega gear to make a 5.1, everything for $250. The pic had the grills on, so I was hoping for 12's, but the owner told me about them and I figured they were 10's. I offered him $150 for the Polks only and he jumped. I probably could have gotten them cheaper. All said, they are in great shape and sound huge in my 2ch rig, especially next to my Monitor 5's. Gotta love craigslist . .

Thanks guys. I put in some listening time last night on both of my rigs and I definately agree with the general consensus, that the 10's are better for music than my RTiA5's. I give them the nod over the Monitor 5's too. They're a little brighter, but my HK does a nice job of taming them and I really don't mind a little in your face sound. The bass from the dual 7" woofers is really an improvement over any of my speakers.
