2 center speakers

We are considering moving our TV to a different wall. Positioning, we can't put the speaker under the TV, and putting it over will get very high. However, we could easily position 2 speakers to the left and right of the TV. (Almost as if the TV's speakers were mouted on the left and right of the screen instead of under the screen).

Basically, we would sit about 15' back from the TV. The L/R mains would be 15' apart. With this configuration, the "L/R Center Speakers" would be about 45" apart.

Anyone else use 2 center speakers like this? Power is coming from multichannel amp, so powering the set-up is not an issue.

Which center channels do you plan on using? If you plan on orienting the center channels vertically, I've tried it with a CSi5 and it ruined the imaging.

Wow. 15' away from the TV. Is it a 100" projector? I have a 57" and I am 8-9 feet back, and that is about right for a big screen experience.

We would be using regular L/R speakers, probably inwalls. If it was a center it would be one that can be mounted vertically. In all likelihood I will get totems for this system.

TV is "only" 46." Any bigger and we really feel like the TV starts to overpower the room which is not a dedicated HT.
