New DSW MP3K purchase and discovery of SVS

I've mainly done Polk speakers. And was planning on replacing a PSW450 with a DSW MP3K. Well actually I just purchased it. I mainly use it for HT and was looking for deeper extension. Should I return it for an SVS? Placement is the issue, space for the sub has to fit the foot print of a PSW450. The cylindrical SVS looks to fit the bill, costs less and goes deeper. Room is 14x18. Thoughts?

The 7.1 system is PSW450, RT55, CS400, FX500 and RC55. Denon 4802. Yea most of it is old skool but both DD and DTS ES/EX still work from BD.

Weird how I go here looking for more info/reviews on Polk but end up seeing reviews and SVS site instead.

For HT I'd go with the ported SVS, but music I'd take the mp3k.

OK thanks. Maybe when I get more room I'll do SVS. I think I'll keep both in the setup then. PSW450 for HT and MP3K for music. I picked up a PSW10 for computer. Its a great value, boomy as heck but oh well what you pay for.

if you were in a bigger room and needed the serious throttle for bass, maybe you would get the pluss or ultra line, but with your relatively small space, I wouldnt replace the micropro with the NSD cylinder. keep the 3000. thats a mean little sub
