This is Riley. We have been dogless for 3 years while we sold our house and then rented while our home was being built. Job 1 once we moved in was to get a pup. We didn't have any luck finding a baby dog nearby, so we had to got about 1 1/2 hours away to the shelter in Pine, CO to get her. Lab mix, maybe (the vet said) border collie. She is almost 4 months old now as close as we can tell.

I used to have Lab as well, it was a work horse. He was crazy. A strong dog....very powerful...stopped many people from just walking into the house. Most of them would knock instead...
Had one as a kid...used to ride on him...he'd take me all over...didn't seem to mind one bit...
It was a really good dog.
Congratz, I am sure you'll love him...after he gets used to the house and stops his puppy ways haha.

Good looking pup! If she's got some border collie in her, look out! That will be one smart dog!
    Cheers, Ken

That is the way to go for the best dogs.
Go to a shelter and get one or save an otherwise destitute dog.

    Congrats.

Do you know, the average dog owner spends 10k over the life of a dog ?
That is definitely not us, although our dogs live very well.

    Enjoy.

What a mug on that pup, makes you heart just melt! He has almost the same marking as my Moose who is a lab/border collie mix!
