    Quoting from their product description....
    Taking Tiger's Approach

Pangea Audio's 'component to the wall outlet' design approach is much like the way that Tiger Woods plays golf. Most golfers think of hitting the ball from the tee to the green. They hit the ball as far as they can on each hole to get as close as possible to the green.

Tiger's approach is just the opposite. He thinks from the green back to the tee. He asks, 'What ball placement on the fairway will give me the best opportunity for a birdie putt today?' Today, his caddie recommends, with a slight wind out of the west, the best shot would be an 7-iron 150 yards from the left of the fairway to the back edge of the green. So Tiger gets out his 3-wood, rather than his driver, and hits the ball to that spot on the fairway to set up a second shot that will give him the best opportunity for a birdie putt.

they had an intro price for a while that was super cheap... can't remember, but it was like $20 for 0.6m cables or something.. I think i got three 1m AC-14's for $80 and an 1.5m AC-9 for $60..

Not sure if they were ever actually retailing for $200, but $50 for 1m AC9 seems like a decent deal to me..

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

The prices for the "original" Pangea's seems to be the same as they always were. $49.99 for a 1M AC-9 is a great unadvertised deal. Do you have to call to get that price Larry?

I build quality is very good IMHO.. the cords are almost too thick/stiff. If you have cramped stereo cabinets this would be a problem.

I didn't really notice much of a difference sonically (I couldn't change out the cord on my Carver amp, which i really wanted to do), but others have very much enjoyed the sound of their pangea's.. that thread headrott linked will have everyone else's opinion.

Hooked up a Pangea AC-14 to my Plasma TV last night and got very little improvement. Granted I do not think it was designed for a TV, but I did notice the SignalCable digital made a better improvement to the TV.

I want to try a AC-9, but they seem to thick and stiff for my tight set-up.

Wonder if you could bend a 0.6 meter Pangea AC-9 in the shape of a U?

Just put these cables to my Power Conditioner, Amp, and CDP.

These cables are worth every penny for the cost that they can be had...

OK the image is much cleaner, wider, and the SDA effect is in full bloom. The drums are tighter, and the depth of the over all effect is fantastic. I want to order 2 more for my 2 pre/amps. Not sure if the ELP will stay on the shelf with one of these behind it, I think I would have to strap the little guy down.

They are fat as a garden hose but not as stiff as I thought they might be, and you can bend a .6 meter into a U shape with no problems.

All n All a good bang for the buck upgrade. I am very happy with them.

I've got some of those AC-9s, gotta agree, they rock. Yep, every time I plug those bad boys in, I tend to suddenly find myself inadequate, lol.

The AC-14SE are fine for SACD/CD, pre-amps, and DACs. I installed them on mine and immediately heard a positive difference. As they settled in, it just got better.

I put one of these cables on my Emotiva XPA-3 in my HT rig and it gave the Emo a whole new life, in a good way. it really brought the A9's to life as well, since I really don't spend much time listening to music in my HT rig I am enjoying what I'm hearing. I am not an Emo fan by any means but this amp works just fine for my needs in the HT rig for now but I am really impressed with what this cable does for this amp.. My money and times goes to my 2 channel as most of you guys know.

I really wish I could put an upgraded cable on my Pioneer SC-07. well I guess I could modify it if I wanted to.
