Right away I thought of Ken S.

No affil.

A tube powered reel to reel that appears complete but may need a little TLC

I have a couple tube r2r's sitting in the garage, Viking, and....not Akai, I can't remember, starts with an A.

My brother owns that Akai tube reel to reel deck. It has great sound. Not sure about the asking price though, seems a little high. He does say he'll entertain offers though. It'd be worth a listen to anyone interested in it.

"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

He is also including a working Teac so the price seems a little easier to swallow when you consider you are getting 2 decks.

Maybe I misread the post, I thought he said he was not sure if the Teac works or not because he didn't have the power cord to it? That's why he's including it as a "bonus".
