Although his last few have been disappointing, I have a soft spot in my heart for M. Night. I LOVED Signs, and liked The Village and his earlier work. I'm hoping for a rebound!2 Channel/HT:

He's only the writer for this one. No direction, so we'll see. -
His skill seems to be in creating a mood. Even his worst movies have good cinematography and art direction, and always have an eerie presence to them. Unfortunately that is WAY overshadowed by his inability to direct his actors or to follow through with a story correctly. If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

whoops...I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Hahahah, that movie cost like 200 million bucks to make. That was funny. It looked like something out of Kung Pow : Enter the Fist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXrAYdSeWY8If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
Please, oh please... watch the "dance sequence" followed by the World's slowest flying rock at the 2:03 mark. Tell me if milk doesn't come out of your nose.I never had it like this where I grew up. Here's a little blurb from M.Night about this film and the sequel to Unbreakable...M. Night Shyamalan has revealed that the third film in his "Night Chronicles" horror anthology film series will cannibalise elements from the early script work he did for an "Unbreakable" sequel reports MTV News.
Out doing promotion for "Devil", Shyamalan says "I cannibalized the idea for the sequel to Unbreakable for one of the 'Night Chronicles'. It was such a cool idea for a villain, and it was actually originally in the script for Unbreakable, and it was too much. There were too many villains, so I pulled this villain out and was like, 'I'll make this the second flick.' I fleshed it out more and more, and thought, 'This could be a standalone movie!' I'll just say it: the third 'Night Chronicles' movie is what would have been the sequel to Unbreakable."
The project currently doesn't have a title. The first film in the series, "Devil", opens September 17th. The second, "Twelve Strangers", opens sometime next year.
Kind of a bummer, Unbreakable is by far his best film todate.If...
