Acurus A250 2-ch amp

OK, I've finally decided to part ways with this amp. I've got too much gear and this amp is not being used.
Acurus is known for their no frills simple, durable designs. Always thought to be some of the best bargains in audio too, both new and used.
I've had both this piece since 2008 and have used it very little due to my lack of a dedicated room for 2-ch. I've mainly used it for testing new setups looking for synergy, etc. I bought it from the original owner and still have the box/packing/etc.
The A250 puts a prodigious 250 watts into 8 ohms and 350 watts into 4 ohms. The amp runs cool as well due to its excellent outboard heat-sinks. Its amazing what 250+ watts can do for your bass!
Received excellent reviews in its day and was thought to be the best amp for under $1000 at the time.
Gut shot and scans of a professional review are in this thread at AK.

Asking $375+shipping, CONUS only.
The amp is in excellent cosmetic shape and sounds great. The only thing that could be considered a problem is that the green power LED flickers. However, if you research, you will find that it occurs on just about every one of these A250 amps. A replacement switch is available, but the manufacturer will tell you that the replacement will flicker after a couple years also. Most people who own this amp will just black out the LED with a sharpie or put electrical tape over it.

Anyone? Price too high? Any little dots you see are probably from hot pixels in my camera. The amp really is clean.
How about $350+ship?
If nobody wants it in a day or two, I'll have to take it to Audiogon. -
Hmmmm ......anyone have an idea about how well this would match up to a HK3490?Main

If you have a pair of SDA's and want to send them some clean, high current power with no "grain" or harshness, this is your amp. I love mine, it has excellent control of the speakers and no coloration. And the 250 watts is very conservative, actual output is about 300 watts @ 8ohms and almost 500 @ 4.

Yes. I've used it with my SDA-1C. -
Nobody wants this? These things usually sell for around $400 at Audiogon. Very capable amp that can handle any speaker without melting down.

I think your price is fair and I would love to have it...I just can't convince the wife on this.....not yet anyways! Good luck!Yep, my name really is Bob.

If the RL11 had been available I was actually considering them both. I have some Mac and Rotel gear I haven't been entirely happy with.

Bump. Still looking to get $350+shipping for this fine amp.

I can't believe this amp hasn't sold yet. $1 per watt into 4 ohms seems like a very good deal to me. This amp has widespread praise for its reliability and neutral sound. Anybody with a reasonable offer?

Still available. Last chance before I agree to sell (for slightly less) it to a local buyer this coming weekend. I'll take $325 for it between now and Friday. After that, it will be gone.
