Need Advice

Okay, so I already own Polk TSi200 bookshelf speakers with a Sony STR-DH700 Receiver.

I'm a Junior in college and I don't have a ton of cash (but I appreciate good sound) so I was trying to figure out what I should get next to add to my system. (I was planning on getting one new thing every 6 months or so as I get the money).

Any suggestions? I was thinking about a subwoofer or a center.

Thanks.

Depends how you're going to put this system to use, but I'd probably opt for a subwoofer over a center (I'm strictly into music).

Btw, if you really want best bang for the buck...may I suggest going used?

Alot of quality components out there that'll dance on anything new nowadays (in regards to stuff sold in big box stores). Just my .02
    Truck setup
    Alpine 9856
    Phoenix Gold RSD65CS

    For Sale
    Polk SR6500
    Polk SR5250
    Polk SR104

    +1

Music or movies you're gonna get more sonic impact and pleasure with a sub instead of a center paired with those bookshelves.
    Sounds good to me...
